The MATE ICON is set to be the quintessential folding city e-bike. Inspired by the original MATE City (the brand’s first e-bike back in 2017!), this updated version is lighter, more refined, and designed around one idea: freedom of movement.

Built for everyday life, it folds in seconds and fits anywhere: the train, the elevator, your car trunk, or a corner of your apartment. No tools, no fuss. Just fold, carry, and go.

Powered by a 250W motor, the MATE ICON offers:

• 45 Nm of torque
• Up to 80 kms max range

With hydraulic disc brakes, you can count on consistent stopping power in any condition. Pair that with a lightweight aluminium frame and wide handlebars, and you get stable, responsive handling in busy city streets.

Essential accessories included

All the essential accessories come pre-installed on your MATE bike: lights, fenders, and a rear rack. Together, these total to 190 EUR or $336 in added value, already included at no extra cost!

Comfortable by design

Front and rear suspension absorb vibrations from rough surfaces, while the 7-speed gear gives you the flexibility to ride at your own pace. Combined with an adjustable seatpost, the ICON is built to fit riders from 150 cm to 215 cm comfortably.

Weighing just 23 kg, the ICON folds down quickly to a compact size that’s easy to carry and store. Whether you’re hopping on public transport, climbing stairs, or packing it into the car, this bike is nothing but convenient.

WARRANTY

We offer a 1-year warranty on all Aventon bikes sold by Electric Kicks. For more information, please see our warranty page.

SHIPPING

Electric Kicks ships out your order through Priority Express couriers, free of charge, anywhere in Australia. No minimum order required. Generally orders are shipped the same day if ordered before 12pm.

Once your order has been shipped from our warehouse, usual delivery time takes:

Melbourne - 1-2 days

Sydney, Canberra, Adelaide - 1-2 days

Perth - 1-2 days (5-7 days if not shipped from our Perth warehouse)
