Abound LR vs. Abound SR: Which One is Right for You?

Both models have the same 200-KG payload capacity, but the Abound LR features a rear rack that is 18 cm longer than the SR, which makes it better suited for carrying bulkier cargo or two passengers. The LR is also 3.6 kg heavier. 

If you need more cargo space, the LR is the better choice. On the other hand, the SR offers a more compact design for easier storage and maneuverability.

TECHNICAL OVERVIEW

The Abound LR ships as a Class II ebike, with pedal assist and throttle. The Abound will also operate with the throttle unplugged and removed, should you want to ride in an area that only allows Class I ebike or throttles are prohibited. Aventon ebikes are built to the IPX6-rated standard. An IPX6 rating means the bike is protected against high-pressure water streams from any angle. This provides strong water resistance, so you can confidently ride in heavy rain or through puddles and mud. However, IPX6 does not mean waterproof—Aventon ebikes are not designed for full submersion. Avoid using a pressure washer or sprayer to clean your ebike, as pressurized water can still damage components. *Max range determined using PAS 1 on flat terrain with a rider weight of 72 kg*

SHIPPING

Electric Kicks ships out your order through Priority Express couriers, free of charge, anywhere in Australia. No minimum order required. Generally orders are shipped the same day if ordered before 12pm.
